During the past 10 years of existence, Mercury Recording Equipment hsa earned a world wide excellent reputation as manufactor for premium recording equipment. Mercury offers hand built, high quality recording equipment, including all-tube/all-transformer equalizers, limiters and microphone amplifiers, as well as solid state equipment in the tradition of classic studio equipment from companies like Pultec, Fairchild, Telefunken and Langevin. Mercury Recording Equipment Co. is still more of a "custom shop" than a large factory and continues to grow. Mercury products are labor intensive and built in the United States of America. Assembly is done in house and products are hand built and or hand assembled.  The vision of Mercury Recording Equipment Co. is to build superior recording equipment and to have the value of quality craftsmanship in the forefront.

Mercury M72s/1
Mercurys recreation of the classic modular Telefunken/Siemens V72 amplifer which were used in classic recording desks like the EMI REDD 37. The Mercury M72s has that "vintage tone" and "break up" like the original vintage modules, but it is a bit more musical over all. Not cleaner, more musical.  For more informations click  here

Mercury M76m/2
The 2 channel version of the M76m. Built like a tank, 8 tubes, 6 transformers, 15kg .. " This is more than just a "recreation". First, Mercury M76m added an impedance select switch for both high and low impedance devices. Mercury EQH-1
Based on the classic Pultec designs, the Mercury EQ-H1 is a passive R/C eq with a single ended gain make up amplifier. The EQ-H passive EQ/gain make up amp topology provides a musically satisfying result unobtainable with active and parametric EQs, since it does not rely upon negative feedback. Mercury EQP-1
Pultec Equalizers are some of the rarest and most sought after studio tools in the industry today. The goal was that the Mercury EQ-P1 would add that magic touch to music like the original, Mercury achieved that goal. Mercury has tried to keep all elements in line with the original designer's ideas with only minor improvements. Adding a couple of extra frequencies for more flexibility and using  DC on the heaters (of the tubes) rather than AC for better performance.  For more informations click here

Mercury M66 MK IV

Mercury Grand Pre
The Mercury Grand Pre is a solid state, discrete, 1970's British inspired microphone preamplifier. Based on a vintage Calrec circuit the Grand Pre is not a "Neve 1272" clone, but rather the "New Classic British Alternative". The newly designed FET Direct Input is very full sounding. There is more mid range and low end presence then most D.I.s as well as an open and airy top end and overall punchiness you would expect form a solid state discrete amplifier. Mercury AM16
The Mercury AM16 is a 19" rack mountable version of the American, transistor-type, modular preamplifier built in the 1960's. The original AM16 was used as a multipurpose amplifier in "Vintage Langevin" consoles. The AM16 is well known for being very musical, open on the top end and having a tube-like "air" characteristic not found in most amplifiers of the same type. For more informations click  here .
